A specific detailed account of your portfolio (name of
securities, quantity of shares, market value)
Any dividends or interest earned
Any charges processed on your account
Year-to-date long- and short-term capital gains
Your periodic statement may also list a credit
balance. This is the average daily settled amount in your cash
sub-account. It may be combined with any balances you owe on a margin
account. The money in your sub-account can be used to purchase more
shares, and is sometimes called "free" credit.
An errors and omissions notice on your statement means
that your confirmation was prepared with the best available information, but if
there is an error, the company will promptly rectify the error upon presentation
of satisfactory documentation. |
